A Christmas craft project

For Christmas my niece asked for an American Girl closet. Her parents got one custom made and painted. They asked me to make the containers inside and some door organizers. I researched and found three items that I thought would be useful.

Doors open, pockets on the left, memo board on the right and some custom boxes on the shelves.

Three pockets hang on the door for accessories.

Memo board for letters and pictures from her dolls friends. Again batting and fabric hot glued to a piece of particle board and some ribbon crossed to tuck items in. The object tucked in already is the gift tag from K and I.

I bought some Christmas gift boxes from the dollar store and hot glued fabric and trim to them.

She loved it and was so excited to fill it with all of her new and old stuff.

Great Family Tradition

It's so wonderful to see traditions carrying on in our family. Looking at these pictures I remember when I was little and "Santa" used to come to our family dinner after dessert. He would have a big red bag filled with gifts for everyone. It's amazing to see my cousins kids react to "Santa". I can't wait for next year to see what our Bunny does.

Seeing "Santa" out in the backyard, just coming off the roof :)

Of course "Santa" wipes his boots dry before coming into the house

I think this year I am bigger than "Santa" :)

The smiles on these boys faces are priceless and worth all of the hoopla :)

Baking with my Family

A few weeks ago I had my sister, two cousins and nephew over to do some Christmas baking. It was lots of fun and we baked for hours. I'm blessed to be able to celebrate the holiday season with my family.
