3.4 this week, an over all 4.4
Most of you probably don't know what that means, so let me explain. One of my New Year's resolutions was to lose 10-15% of my weight. I know it doesn't sound like a lot but it's been an ongoing battle for the past 4 years and I've been on the loosing side. So this year, by the advice of my doctor, I joined Weight Watchers. The system is easy to learn, first you determine how many "points" you are allowed (different food is worth different points) then you make sure not to eat more than your daily allowance. It really makes you look at portion size and what the content of your food is. The great thing is I'm never starving like some other "diets" leave you, and I can eat whatever I want. Okay now I'm starting to sound like an advertisement. Anyway, every week I go to a meeting and we start off by a weight in. The first 2 weeks I had only lost under 1 pound, I was starting to question the whole thing, but this week I lost a whopping 3.4 lbs without exercising. I am so proud of myself. That totals 4.4 lbs lost which is 1/3 of the way to my goal. Now if I can only get motivated to exercise I'll have this battle won.

Congrats on the weight loss!
My ex's mom did weight watchers too, and she lost a LOT with it! :)
