Back in November I made a blaket and bed (well I bought the bed and made the blanket) for my niece's "American Girl" doll as her Christmase gift. My other niece's birthday is in March and I will be starting one for her this evening. I started on paper with a 3 stripe pattern with a 1/4, 1/4, 2/4 proportion. I recently saw this post and thought it might be quicker to complete. I also would like to try doing some hand stiching and this pattern will allow me to do that easier. Wish me luck. I will try to post the fabric image tonight when I get home.
***Update*** The picture above is of the new fabric and felt I got to make the blanket.
