I little bit of History on the water front

The Bluenose is as Canadian as the red-jacketed Mountie or the brown, furry Canadian beaver. The sailing schooner turns up in stories and songs, on Canadian stamps, and is etched a few million times on Canadian dimes.

This week thousands Torontonians are expected to line up at Queen's Quay to view the Bluenose II as part of the Toronto Nautical Festival.

Lucky me, my office looks out onto Lake Ontario and I was able to snap a few photos as the Bluenose sailed in.
