Toys in a Kids room?

I've never been a fan of toys in a child's room. I've always believed that a seperate playroom was the way to go. In between our two front bedrooms there is a little nook where our desktop computer has been. When we bought the house I always said this area would either be a computer space or a "playroom". Now that O is fully crawling and giving us a run for our money, I thought a space for play was in order. In the next few weeks I hope to transform this space into a safe play zone. We will put up a gate on the stairs and cover all the plugs. I also have boxes of toys from when I was little that I hope to go through and re use. What about the computer? Well K and I both have laptops now and we moved the wireless router into our room. So there really isn't a need for a desk anymore.
