A golden heart takes her last breath

As some of you may know my Gran has been very ill with Lymphoma (cancer in her lymph nods). Last year she battled the cancer with the help of Chemo, and completely ride her body of it. Or so we thought. This past November the cancer came back with avenges. In a mere 2 ½ months the cancer took over her body. Slowly her organs began to weaken and she was no longer able to eat or walk and my aunts and father began her palliative care at home. She fought a long and tough fight, but sadly on Tuesday, April 8 at 2:42 pm Gran left us forever. She had been unconscious all day Monday and Tuesday with much difficulty breathing. Her children and some of her grandchildren surrounded her bed when she opened her eyes with tears in them and closed them for the final time. The past week has been very difficult but we all go on knowing that Gran is looking down on all of us from a better place. I love you Gran.
