Amazing Pace....Life accomplishment

This weekend my best friend and I and our husbands participated in a fundraiser called the Amazing Pace. It's run by the Ontario Lung Association ad all the money raised goes to help fund lung disease research. We've been doing it for the last 3 years and were really excited this year. The game is played similar to the tv show Amazing Race. We are running all over downtown Toronto completing tasks and solving clues. There were approximately 30 teams. It was a soggy grey day, but we made the best of it. We really pushed ourselves this year. The first year we came in 23rd and last year we placed 8th. This year we were pushing for top 5. 1 hour and 52 minutes we came in first place! I am so proud of our team. We encourage and push each other to do our best. I'm so glad we are friends. Thanks guys for a great afternoon.
