Powder Room Reveal

So here it is, finally the powder room is complete. It was hard to get really good pictures of such a small space. The colour we used is Benjamin Moore's Revere Pewter. The mirror was from my favorite store, HomeSense. The light fixture we bought at Living Lighting. They actually have really amazing fixtures in stock and available to order. One day we will replace the builders pedestal sink with a vanity that matches the mirror. For now the sink serves it's purpose.
In this picture you get a little bit of the crown molding against the wall colour and the mosaic tile. The shelves we bought from West Elm. I have to say, I was very disappointed with these shelves. The instructions to hang them seemed very simple, however when we hung them, with the help from my dad we stumbled upon many problems. I think if I had to do it again, I would use similar shelves form Ikea. The brackets are easier to use and the cost was a bit less. None the less the shelves look fantastic and balance the dark wood frame on the other side of the room.
You can see our little basket on the top shelf that holds the extra toilet paper and a few spare towels. The second shelf has a picture we took in Thailand, along with a cream locust flower candle holder. The right side of the second shelf sits my pretty little copper bird and a votive holder.

I think the best complement I got was from one of our friends. He came out of the bathroom and said to me "Wow Lisa, I walked into the bathroom and it felt like I walked into a model home". It's so nice to have such wonderful friends who are so kind. After all of our hard work, and weeks of not having a bathroom, it's nice to finally be done with the reno. Now onto the Nursery!
